Anna Van Hooft (born in Toronto, Canada) is an actor. She is best known for playing Aura, the Princess Aura, in the TV version of Flash Gordon from 2007. Kostomarov was the one with whom she competed in two years, was the 2000 European Figure Skating Championships as well as her participation in 2000 World Figure Skating Championships was the 2000 Russian bronze. Her birthplace was in Moscow on the 1st of March 1980, to Russian economics professor Tatyana Dimitrievna and the family that included Gregory T., the director of a fur business. When she was young, she became ill. She was hospitalized. She was later diagnosed with Rheumatoid arthritis. It was his career as a skater with Denis Samokhin that made him famous. They competed at the Junior World Championships in two consecutive years. They were placed 8th in 1993 and 7th in 1994. She was in 1994 briefly collaborated together with Maxim Kachanov. They were fifth at the Goodwill Games. She then joined forces along with Vladimir Fedorov. They had a great time together. They won twice the Finlandia Trophy, and they took part in the Grand Prix of Figure Skating. Together they achieved greater things however the highlight of their partnership was when they finished 15th in the 1998 World Championships.
